Mind-Body Skills Groups help individuals in developing awareness around the mind-body connection. Group members will build skills for self care and stress reduction. Participants can expect to engage in mindfulness, movement-based practice, and nutrition as ways of attuning and attending to the mind-body connection. Mind-Body skills practice is known to support individuals who experience chronic stress, exposure to trauma and adverse events, and chronic health conditions increase self-care, quality of life, and improve health-care outcomes.
